Out and About Club          

Yes folks this is the Whiteparish Club set up so like minded people can run naked through the New Forest with other like minded people... NOT!!!

This is a Club that has been formed from a simple idea by Wendy Hedley from a casual remark about how it would be fun to have a few people to call up and see if they'd fancy a night out at the Theatre, or the Races, or a Skittles night or even out for a meal... 30 members later and still growing it's now turned into the 'Out and About Club' (OAC). 

The OAC welcomes anyone to join, its simple aim is to try at least once a month to have a trip that would appeal to its members. It recognises that not all will want to go to the ballet for instance but maybe your partner will, safe and with like minded friends. So if you fancy joining in a nutshell, the cost is £10 per year with a £5 joining fee, this is to pay for annoying legal stuff like Liability Insurance. We would hope that due to our buying power that will be recouped quickly from discounts we are able to negotiate on bookings.

We will be highlighting the events here and in the Whiteparish Village Store you can down load the event forms here and drop off your cash or cheques made out to 'Out and About Club' with your form to a specially designated Post Box opposite the Post Office Counter in the Shop.

Our rules are...

Name and Membership

The Club will be called “Out & About” and shall consist of subscribed members.

New Applicants for membership will be required to complete an application form and pay the appropriate membership and joining fee.

The Committee will consist of a Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary, plus committee members, to be elected annually at the AGM.

Liability

So far as the statute allows, no officer or committee member shall suffer pecuniary loss due to his/her holding office unless such loss is due to criminal action.

Subscriptions

A joining fee and annual subscriptions shall be determined from time to time at the Annual General Meeting. These fees will be used for insurance and other expenses. All subs will be due on the 1^st April each year.

Payments

All events will be paid for by members on booking. Members bringing guests can do so twice a year - a £2.50 supplement will be payable.
